New T20 Captain Announcement – Rich West Leads the Way

Church Eaton Cricket Club are pleased to confirm Rich West as our new T20 Captain for the upcoming season in the Furrows Shropshire Midweek League.

Taking on the role following a strong campaign last year, Rich is ready to build on that success and drive the team forward.

?️ Rich shared his thoughts ahead of the season:

“After a successful campaign last year, I know there are big boots to fill this season.
Our aim is to build on that success by maintaining the strong mix of seniors and juniors that worked so well for us. That balance is a real strength of the squad and something we want to continue developing.
With more teams and a new league structure, the competition will be tougher. But with the players we have available at the club, there’s no reason we can’t be right up there again.

Consistency will be key — having a strong core of players available each week will make a huge difference. Just as important will be creating a great atmosphere at home games, with strong support for both the team and the club.
