As the smell of freshly cut grass and linseed oil fills the air, Church Eaton Cricket Club is proud to unveil its 2025 Senior Squad – complete with official squad numbers for the upcoming season.
For the first time in club history, we’re giving our senior players individual numbers – not just for kits, but to add a little personality (and maybe some friendly dressing room banter) into the mix.
With 41 players named in this year’s senior squad, from seasoned club legends to fresh faces ready to make their mark, this is the most competitive and committed group we’ve had in years. Whether they're opening the batting, bowling heat, or doing their best work in the bar after a game, each player is part of something special this season.
So without further ado, here’s the full senior squad and their chosen numbers:

What Do the Numbers Mean?
Some players picked their favourite number. Others got stitched up by their mates. A few were just too slow replying in the WhatsApp group. Either way, these numbers are now theirs – for better or worse – for the 2025 campaign.
What’s Next?
With pre-season training in full swing, fixtures around the corner, and excitement building, we can't wait to see this group hit the field. Whether you're a lifelong supporter or a first-time visitor to the club, this is the squad you’ll be cheering on all season long.
Let the games begin.
